About my person:

In 1955 I

was born in Niedersachsen, near Hannover. After I had spend
nearly 20 years in Berlin I moved together with my girl friend and our two cats to Schleswig-Holstein.
There we are living now in a little village near Lübeck and not far from the Baltic Sea. I am a social
                                                         worker.

     In 2008 a friend invited me to a course of sculpture`s art. There I designed my first pipe:

At the beginning I worked as a self-taught person. By the time I became familiar with some other
                                                       pipe makers.

The biggest help for me was and is up to now Eckhard Stöhr. He always helped me with informations, tips,
                   tools and critic. Just so the members of the "Hamburger Pfeifenfreunde".

First I tried to sell my pipes on markets and I was always happy whenever someone took a pleasure in them.

                            By the time with my demands my workshop increased, too.

I was nearly mad with joy when in February 2011 "Esterval`s Pipe House" was ready to present my pipes.

   I am still a beginner, a learner and I think, every pipe I create is a little piece of new development.

            May be it will be a long, a gradual way, but while walking I receive a lost of pleasure!
